Jorge Lorenzo arrived at the Sant Josep de la Muntanya orphanage near Barcelona on Tuesday to assist in launching a games
room, which will be enjoyed by over 70 children based at the centre. The MotoGP World Championship hero stated, “It’s
great to come and see the children and the Anima Foundation because it’s something that doesn’t cost anything.
On the other hand it gives me so much if I can make these children happy for a few hours.”
Lorenzo enjoyed
his time with the children in the fresh games room, entertaining themselves with table tennis and remote controlled motorcycle
games. The 23 year old also signed autographs and accessories with his number 99 on them were donated.
“They’ve
included lots of details and put lots of photos of me in the room, and this has been a very interesting day. These are children
who are orphans or have family problems, but luckily they have facilities here. They are normal children who want to have
fun, and these moments when they see their idols are exciting for them,” explains Lorenzo.
